With so many different dry cleaners to choose from, what makes you go back to the same place over and over again? I feel like you have to develop a relationship with a good dry cleaners. You are trusting them with your most delicate (and probably most expensive) garments. I can give you a few reasons why Opal Cleaners has made a good impression on me. The very first time I went to pick up some items, I walked in about 15 min after closing time. At the time, I wasn't aware of their business hours. The owners were very friendly and still welcomed me in, despite the fact that they were busy loading up their van with the day's business. Another time, I picked up about 5 suits and their credit card machine had been down for the day. I didn't have any cash on me to pay, so they just gave it to me on the house. I even offered to have it credited to my account so they could charge me next time, but they told me to not worry about it. Not only are their prices low (about $2.69 for almost every garment) but they offer next day service and VIP service that includes 24-hr drop off. I know these services are offered by many other businesses, but this is a family run shop that are aware that if you treat the customer right, they will return.
