This is an excellent place for early childcare. We have had two of our children attend here over the years. I love the teachers because they really care about the kids and treat them like family. Ms. Jill's class for the 3's is the best!!! She has great structure and I felt like my kid was really learning a great deal in her classroom. Once your child is Preschool aged (4+) I would recommend going somewhere else. The curriculum is mostly focused on "learning through play" and in my opinion this does not seem to prepare children for what they need to know for Kindergarten. Also, the class that my child was in for preschool had children ranging in age from 3 to 5 yrs old. The age range was too broad and it made it difficult for the teachers to meet the needs due the varying developmental levels of the students. I really don't see this as the teachers fault and this issue rests mostly with the administrative staff. The children should be closer in age or developmental fit to avoid this problem and that would help to facilitate learning. In summary, if your child is infant to 3 years old RSLCS is the place to go. After that I highly recommend going somewhere else so that your child can be better prepared for the elementary years!
