I have awesome insurance. They will cover any bariatric surgery at 100% coverage. WLIA wanted to charge me $3,500 out of pocket to have a second surgeon in the room to assist during surgery. I told them that my insurance covers this 100% so I won't be paying anything out of pocket. They insisted $3,500 would need to be paid by me if I want the surgery. Long story short, I went with the reputable hospital, got my sleeve covered at 100% and only paid $150 out of pocket for my hospital co-pay. This place is run by scam artists.
