Again, this time, a visit to the bar and a couple of small plates. Our bartender was charming - how nice to have eye contact and smiles in Charlotte. My friend had a glass of Rose, nice. Dry as it should be, not the faux-Rose that's really white zinfandel in diguise. I had a Tito's and soda- can't go wrong with that. We ordered the octopus. My first try was not an anomaly - again, it was flavorful and tender. So, so good. We also got the spinach and feta dip. Sometimes such concoctions lose the flavor definitions and turn into junk food- this was quite good. Spinach tasted like spinach. Perhaps a crispy pita vs the soft would add some texture variance, but I'm just being provocative- we enjoyed as it was served. I happen to like KC. Look forward to many more visits and experimenting with the menu.
