Went here the other day for out Anniversary and it was pretty darn good. Lets start off with the drinks. Boyfriend got the Peg leg meg and I didn't care for it. Was a little to harsh. I had the Jennys tea cup. It was super sweet but really really good. Refreshing and pretty, Came with an edible flower. For starters we got the adobo wings with their jerk seasoning and a Jamaican beef patty. The wings were stellar! We loved them. They were crispy and i don't know if it was the jerk rub but it has almost a bacony flavor. Wings + bacon flavor = table covered in drool. The Jamaican beef patty was surprisingly pretty amazing but it was so small for the price. For entrees we spilt two dishes. The pork belly tacos and the cubano sandwich. The pork belly tacos were a love hate relationship. The actual pork belly meat was outstanding but they put this sweet potato purree on the tortilla and made it super soggy. We just ate the meat out of it. The cubano was great. Overpriced (considering real Cuban sandwiches go for $5-7 anywhere else) Loved it, Pittsburgh was in need of a good cuban. I subbed French fries for Yuca fries and it was a great choice. All in all I can't really complain. Atmosphere was cool and relaxing and food. I wanna go back and explore the menu some more!
