The staff here are fantastic. A couple of months ago I ran into a car door on my way downtown. I broke my hand. Needless to say by late afternoon on my way home I wasn't in the greatest of moods. I stopped by for a loaf of their amazing bacon (or is it ham) and cheese bread. The young lady serving me and I chatted as she served me. She was excited at becoming junior management and was concerned over my new cast. She asked what had happened. I told her very briefly. What she did next floored me. Without missing a beat she said that I must be having a bad day so please take the loaf of bread on Cobbs. This is service. A couple of days later I rang their head office in Vancouver to commend her. On a later visit to the store she told me that they had played the recording of my call about her. She started sniffling and kept thanking me. But I tried to explain that it was I who was grateful because she changed my day. Now the thing of it is here, is that this is the normal level of service at this bakery. I am very impressed
