I absolutely love this trail, and run on it at least once a week and more during the summer. I pick it up in Millvale, and typically run to the West End Bridge and back. It is a beautiful run, spending most time along the Allegheny River and then passing by the stadiums and the Ohio River. Even when it is a nice day and lots of people are out running, biking, and walking, the trail is wide enough for all to share. My husband uses it for biking (he hates running) and finds it equally as enjoyable. You can take a detour through Washington's Landing, or cross one of the bridges to get to Point State Park for a run around the fountain. Overall a lovely place to run and easy to get in a long distance run!
