Stephen and I went for haircuts today at the salon. We were greeted by a couple of people who guided us to a long table to sit down, and the girl took Stephen's sweater, then asked us if we had appointments.
After she took our names, our stylists came over to greet us! May and Sudien consulted about what we wanted (and of course being the teacher I am, I was bossy and told Sudien what to do for Stephen's hair as well, haha).
I originally had an appointment at 11:30, but they were very accommodating, and we had our appointments together! We both started off with a hot towel for our hands, then a relaxing hair wash and head massage, followed by a very nice cut!
May took her time and asked me every step for my input as she trimmed my hair. She also gave me some suggestions for what I could do for any upcoming hair appointments, too.
Everyone was very kind, the atmosphere is lively, but relaxed (when is it not relaxing to have someone comb your hair for you?!). I had such a great experience. I'll definitely come back for my hair colour (two weeks before my upcoming nuptials in September; I'll remember, May!)! :)
