Such bittersweet feelings about this hellhole (see). First, I hate going here because this place is more gross looking and crowded than Ross or Walmart buuuuuuuut if you search through the rubble, you can find gems. My most successful finds are as follows: two pairs of Sam Edelman boots, both around $30. The second pair of SE ankle boots I just found, I saw at Nordstroms a few days later for $130.00! Score. I also found a nice marc Jacobs wallet there for 36 which I love. The shoe section has great finds and the purses and wallets are hit or miss. I have found several cute sweaters there which would typically run me 30+ but I bought them for 10. They usually have holes in them but since I'm handy I just flip them inside out and stitch them up nicely. Good as new!
The things I hate: this place is ridiculously crowded. And often times these people are on their own missions and manners are aside. As in they just push past you which is annoying. I've heard of friends getting in arguments with crazy shoppers there.
Secondly, the purse prices..... Some of these marc Jacobs and Kate spade bags have the handles ripped off etc and the bag is still 300.00! Whatever, but I'd never pay that for a damaged bag...
Then lastly, I HATE how they write the prices inside the bags WITH PERMANENT MARKER. This is really annoying and ruins the idea of gifting an item or selling it to someone else. PLEASE STOP! Just put sensors and tags like a normal store.
If you have a budget and like to get nice things for cheap, go here. Just be ready for chaos
Some of my best finds have been from this place but I'm usually not very happy when trying to find them.
