Went in for a trim (I have long hair) and style for a grad photo and came here because of a good review I saw on Yelp and it's cheap. Then I asked for soft curls and showed him a pic.
First of all, the curls didn't look as loose as I wanted it, even though he said it would be loose in a half hour, it took a day to look natural. Also I thought he said $5 on the phone but my trim and style was $25... gah, didn't see that coming.
Don't get me wrong, he's a nice guy, but he also cut off way too much hair and thinned it when I asked him not to. He showed me how much he was going to cut, but he ended up cutting way more than that. I'm so unhappy with the result; felt like this was a hair cut and not a trim.
Having said, I have never been satisfied with a hair cut-- hair stylists love to cut off more than I ask for and like to thin out my hair.
