I bought a new bike here about 2.5 years ago and went in for a tune-up the other weekend and was reminded of how wonderful my initial purchase experience was.
I didn't have a bike growing up, so learning to ride a bike as an adult was terrifying, and buying the right bike was really important. The staff took their time with me, showing me lots of options, and helping me take them out on the sidewalk to test. They were patient and kind.
My bike has been amazing, great quality, perfect for my needs. I had shopped around a lot (I had gone to about 12 different shops and stores) when I was looking for my first bike, and the bike prices here were really outstanding.
When I went back in to get it tuned up, they got it done in just 15 minutes - I am not sure this can always be done so quickly, but certainly I was impressed and very pleased.
I noticed one negative review about the prices for accessories - I have to agree that accessories seemed a bit pricey here, and have bought my lights, helmet, etc. from MEC which has very reasonable prices.
When it comes to buying a new or used bike, and getting it serviced, I can't recommend this place enough.
