Wow! I've found my new fave gelato spot in Toronto.
I used to love Hollywood Gelato (still very good value) and Ed's Scoop (best waffle cones). Also enjoy La Poloma and Il Gelatiere. But Gelato Simply Italian has my heart...for now.
The owners are very kind and friendly. They actualy wanted my feedback on the flavours I tried and asked me what I thought about other flavour ideas. The store itself is elegant and clean with lots of room.
What I like about this place is the gelato is not as weet as Hollywood and the selection is better than Ed's. I'd probably like La Poloma better if they were closer to me. But until then...this place is my fave.
