I spent 14 months 3 days 6 hours and 14 minutes to be exact in this place called Calgary (long enough) through my travels there I discovered this little oasis known as Janice Beaton. This became a ritual where every saturday morning I would jump in the car and head down to 17th to get me a little piece of cheese.. I mean where else can you get goat cheese that was milked by lesbians on a full moon in France?? intrigued? This little shop is full of every possible cheese you could dream about. I ALWAYS had to have the Comte. And the staff are so knowledgeable and more than willing to let you sample their wears. AND if you are as much a luver of the cheese as I am then you will be happy to know they have a cheese of the month club.. yes folks I said cheese of the month, and let me assure you this is not your uncle Authurs "cheese" of the month club from nebraska where you get a matching tube steak in a "faux" crate with raffia mixed in.. this is honest to goodness world class cheese!
