Long time customer since it opened. Wendy, the owner is an excellent groomer but does not spend much time at the shop anymore. She had an excellent groomer for my little Bichon/Shih Tzu named "Paige", her haircuts were amazing but Paige moved on & Lexi's new groomer is not quite as gifted but maybe that will come in time. I had one disappointing haircut at the salon in October 2016, I called Wendy, the owner & she remedied the situation by doing another haircut herself & going over it with the groomer. Wendy, then offered me a free grooming, if I returned, which I did not do. I have taken my dogs to Dogs Rule basically since it opened. At Dog's Rule, it is all open & you can visually see all the dogs getting groomed & my little Lexi always came home happy & bouncing around. I made a GRAVE mistake this past Wednesday, January 20, 2016 by taking my Lexi to "THE BANDBOX, DOG & CAT SALON", for a grooming appointment at 8:45 a.m. I dropped off a healthy, happy, somewhat nervous dog & picked up a lethargic, depressed ragdoll. Her hair was not even cut. Upon arrived home, Lexi was still lethargic & really sore on her little face & yelped if she was touched. Took her to the Vet the next day & she has a broken jaw. I paid for my dog to be abused. I really regret not going back to Dogs Rule!
