From a men's standpoint, the selection at DSW is just okay - or at least at this location. What I do really like, however, is that if something isn't available in my size, they'll order it for me and have it shipped to my house.
Wait, isn't that what most stores will do these days?
Yes. It is. But the difference between DSW and other places is that the shoes that we've ordered end up shipping out surprisingly quickly. My girlfriend ordered a pair that arrived the very next day, despite coming from a significant distance. A pair of Vans that I ordered shipped the next day, and arrived the day after, all the way from Indianapolis. Another pair was ordered on a Sunday and arrived at my house by Wednesday. This is pretty impressive, considering you don't pay shipping and there isn't any special membership that's required. However, always have the employees place the order, as I noticed a slight delay when ordering it directly from the website.
So, while their selection doesn't quite blow my mind, the fact that you're basically getting lightning-fast shipping at no additional cost, despite their 5-7 business days claim, is enough for me to give them a high recommendation!
