Overall: Nice hotel, try to get a view of the lake, or if you face the street get a room high up so you can see the Capitol Building. 2-bed for $170 after taxes and fees.
The Room: No mini fridge or snack bar in the room, but that may have been at the request of the company who booked my room. The shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc. were very nice... but no Q-tips in the bathroom. Coffee was Lavazza and tasted fine but was weak.
Breakfast in the Capitol VIP room: Nice. Beautiful view of Monona Terrace, grab one of the window tables if you can. Coffee was very strong. Selection of: Mass-scrambled eggs, granola w/yogurt & berry toppings, French toast, sausage links, bacon, fruit (honeydew, pineapple, cantaloupe, apples), some pastries.
Would stay here again.
