My wife and I have eaten at the Crisp in Elizabeth and really enjoyed it. Having moved, the East Blvd location is now closer. We decided to have lunch there today, and it was pretty underwhelming. I got the special, a teriyaki chicken salad and my wife got the grilled salmon salad. Mine: entirely too much dressing, stale crostini & Asian noodles, soggy and all around meh. Hers: bland and colorless salmon, she asked for dressing on the side and never got it, flavorless and all around yuck. The lackluster food, combined with what appeared to be the "b squad" staff (common courtesy anyone?) secured this as a place we won't ever be visiting again. For $20, I can make two salads I'll actually enjoy.
