First let me say that the only reason the Carnival is getting two stars is because they have a pretty good locals discount. I found a coupon online (on the Caesar's Entertainment website, if you're a local) for 50% off. Not too shabby. We show up & for some reason or another, the lady at the cash register told us we could only get 25% off. Alright, fine.. better than nothing. However, they charged the full price ($33.99) for our friends' 4 year old kid - seriously? You can sleep at night after charging a toddler for a full buffet? Unfortunately, they weren't locals so they couldn't even get a 25% discount. The buffet itself is huge - lots of different types of cuisines to choose from. I started with some roasted chicken, which wasn't too bad. Everything after that, just wasn't great. Not what I expected for $25 per person (with discount). I am really surprised this place has such high reviews. The food at the Garden Court Buffet in Main Street is just as good & it's only $7.99. Maybe I've been spoiled by the super buffets like Bacchanal, but I just wasn't feeling the Carnival World.
