If you're looking for ballet classes for your son or daughter, I can't recommend PBT School enough. I grew up taking ballet and even danced professionally for over a decade - so I know what good, solid dance training looks like... My daughter (with 0 influence from me!) claimed she wanted to be a ballerina at the tender age of 2. I've taken her to numerous studios in multiple states and there have been some that simply offer what I call, "cutesy training." It's a lot of pointing, tapping, big smiles and hands on hips - but not real dancing. She was 5 when we moved to PA and I was desperate to find a studio that would offer her some solid dance technique. We were overjoyed to find PBT. She took classes there for just shy of a year and her growth as a dancer skyrocketed during her time at PBT. I couldn't believe they were teaching my 6 y/o techniques I didn't discover until my late teens. The training and teachers are truly stellar! Regrettably, we had to leave PA but I can easily say this is - hands down - the best ballet training in the city, and possibly some of the best in the state and even our nation! LOVE THEM!!!
