Embrace offers a free policy through my vet for a couple of months when you have a new young animal. Foolishly thinking that I might be reimbursed for some skin scrapings and tests that were done on my dog during this free period, I submitted a claim. Waste of time. There is a 300 dollar deductible. So you have to pay 300 out of pocket for charges that might have been covered by them before they pay out anything. Didn't encourage me to actually pay for their service, and it took them upwards of 6 weeks to even tell me what was covered and what wasn't.
