an awful experience. The owner has no customer service etiquette whatsoever. Not only did she try to argue with me about a mistake that SHE had made and refused to take responsibility for it , but later on when another customer came in she proceeded to argue with her as well about a scheduling mistake that she had made. She made a point to tell both myself and the other patron that she is the only one who answers the phone so she would NEVER have said that. the woman who did my manicure and pedicure was terribly inexperienced i truly could have done a better job myself. it was awkward sitting on the uncomfortable couch in front of the window to the street so tourists and shoppers walking by were gawking as my pedicure continued on. Vanessa (lady doing my man/pedi) had a skirt on so short that her movements were incredibly slow in an effort to keep herself covered while she sat in front of me working on my pedicure. it was awkward. the polish was done so horribly that i requested it be taken off and i would just paint them when i got home. I was in a time crunch and 1.5 hours later the pedicure was still going - but not in the comfortable relaxing way - it was so painstakingly slow. I was hoping the manicure was going to be better but it was just awful. honestly i could have painted my nails better myself. The owner mentioned that her favorite manicurist had quit to go back to school so i am assuming this was her replacement. But she desperately needs more practice.
I got the mani/pedi from a living social deal. I am so glad I didn't pay full price for it because the salon is trying so hard to be a cute ritzy scottsdale boutique salon but falls short in many aspects. i would never recommend it to a friend.
