Usually I'm used to small, cramped, dirty poutine joints but Pountineville was a surprisingly spacious and comfortable restaurant. The food itself is great and the portions are huge. Though there are many poutine options on the menu already, you can also make your own custom poutine. There are a variety of options for vegan/gluten free/vegetarian and even a wine gravy?! I was super excited to try it.
Unfortunately for my party, the waitress forgot part of our order for a pretty long time on a late afternoon time (restaurant was 1/3 full only). I understand mistakes are made but she rarely came back to check up on us or looked our way at all. This takes away from the experience slightly, but the food itself was still amazing.
