I suffer from anxiety and PTSD. I've never been to a dentist either. It was necessary to find a good Dentist with a good bedside manner,and an office that offered sedation.
I located their business through researching on Google. They are located nearly an hours drive from my house,but it was necessary to have a Dentist who offers sedation.
My first impression was a positive one,as the front office staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. They treated you gently and like family...just made it more welcoming. For someone with anxiety, that's important.
I met with Dr Konkle,and all though he knew from my paperwork already,that I had anxiety,it was visible as I get tremors from my anxiety. So he eased into the consultation with me. He sat and spoke with me for well over an hour! He also brought in Dr Hatch and introduced him to me. Even Dr Hatch sat down and talked to me for about 10 mins.
My PTSD stems from many traumatic medical experiences,so it was very important to feel safe and comfortable,and these Dentist did that.
They clearly go above and beyond.
I would drive an hour to see them, a million times over. I would recommend them to anyone.
