Brand new spot way in the back of the Venetian. As for food, I would probably go 3.5 stars, but service was great and friendly, great beer list, and the vibe of the place is pretty cool. Black Tap is known for its burgers, crazy shakes, and 90s hip hop environment. We cannot comment on the crazy shakes, though they look amazing! We shared some fried pickles, which were good, but the oil they fried them in could have been hotter. Enjoyed a side of queso, which was also good. Eat it before it gets cold!! We also shared the Chili Cheeseburger, which was decent. Aimee, our great bartender/server, told us that their 'medium' doneness is a bit under medium, which is fine for us but it's really good that they tell people that. A friend of ours who works at another spot says he thinks they over grind their meat, making the burger a bit mushy. I totally see what he's saying. Maybe it's opening kinks the need to work on, maybe not. I'd definitely stop in again and sit at the bar. Check it out!
