Love this place. It's close to the city at Mccowan and Stouffville Road, and there are plenty of varieties of apples to pick, including royal gala, courtland, MacIntosh, and especially honey crisp ! Their apple trees are short and wide, making it easy for even little ones to reach branches. There is absolutely no need to climb any trees. They have a small playground area with swings and a climbing structure. They have a small pen of small animals and a tractor ride to get to other parts of the farm. The winery area is a nice perk, and you can find assorted alcoholic beverages such as cider, honey, to reds and whites, ice wine, etc at reasonable prices. They have jams as well. I think it's a nice place to spend a relaxing few hours picking apples, or to introduce your kids to apple picking. They have plenty of orchard space so you never feel like it is too crowded. Only downside is the admission fee, $7.50 per person ages 3-65. You pay only $20/20lb bag though. If you buy two bags of apples you get a pumpkin free. Although it's a bit pricier, you're supporting your local orchard, so it's worth doing, and not all orchards have alcohol Previous years have had better yields, but we still managed to easily pick a bag full of apples this year despite issues with crop due to weather. Many apples had pitting from hail damage this year, but we just picked apples with healed spots and hope that they have better luck next year.
