The good: easy location, good hours, clean, nice layout.
The bad: This gym is incredibly busy most of the time. Once again: the gym is incredibly busy most of the time. This is when you start asking yourself: what exactly am I paying for if I cannot get my routine done? The equipment is too busy, machines are too close. Personal space notion does not seem to exist here. What else makes your experience unpleasant is clientele. Low income, attitude problems, students. There are many people that have no clue about basic ethical behaviour in a space called gym. Examples: a piece of equipment gets occupied by someone for 45+ minutes with long leisure breaks (7-10 min!) to blah-blah with whoever they come with. Another example: you approach a clearly unoccupied piece of equipment (no towel, no personal belongings), you start changing weights, then somebody shows up claiming they are not done yet. Very confusing as I go to the gym to get shit done and not to fight / interact with some men with insecurities. This happens regularly. And it only takes one individual to set this dynamics, then everyone else picks it up. Staff does not seem to care about this. Concerns have been brought up and never addressed. And wait for the new-year-resolution crowd. Sorry, two stars only. I have definitely experienced better. To Bay st professionals: don't waste your time here, go elsewhere.
