Since the former manager (and mostly all of the previous staff) left to work at an independent shop, the customer service at this Performance Bicycles location has declined greatly. The salespeople are incredibly pushy and are primarily concerned with selling you as many items as possible, even when you have made it abundantly clear that you are not interested. My wife and I stopped in to purchase a helmet for her, and both salespeople would not leave us alone and continually asked when we were ready to look at bikes, when I already informed them that we only needed a helmet. One younger salesperson was very helpful, but he was pulled away because the manager was yelling at him from the back of the store. With so many options for independent bike shops in the area, steer clear of this big-box retailer and buy from a friendly local shop.
