This was not as advertised, as other reviewers describe. In addition to this all the fees that were being charged for a crappy dirt run with plastic shot size glasses of wine was definitely not worth it.
I will never do one of these runs again, particularly since when we were done the finish experience was so lackluster. For a 5K costing $65 (I had friends that missed the groupon and paid this) in addition to the parking fee of $15 this was so not worth it. Such a run should be no more than $10, so I only hope that the charity will see most of the funds.
Thankfully I have amazing friends, so we made the best we could of a bad situation by having our own wine party save yourself time and money... Look for another 5K.
Side Note: This is where the Tough Mudder + World's Toughest Mudder is held. Some of the same course. Not really what you are anticipating on your 5K!
