I had an extremely easy move in and move out experience (even with having to break a lease). I kept my apartment in good condition and received my whole security deposit back, even the refundable part of my pet deposit. When you move in they give you all the numbers you need to set up utilities and even leave bottles of water in the fridge.
The apartments are a little dated and they aren't very sound-proofed, but on the whole, I'd have to say it was a pleasant place to live (State St. Apts).
