Lied to get me into service. The rep knew full well we were moving in 6 months. When we saw a contract for 36 months, I said we can't do it. He assured both me and my wife that we can get out of the contract for only one month serve cost as a penalty. When I went to cancel when we moved, ADT wanted 75% of the 36mo as penalty. I explained our talk with the rep but the contract said nothing of the sort. I called the rep and he said he would call me when he got to the office. He did not and never returned any of my calls. I hope he enjoyed the commission based on lies. Shame on me for not sticking with my gut and not having that conversation in writing...
