The absolute worst place when dealing with the billing department. Since moving to charlotte I was aware of the grumblings of how bad Novant is. Unfortunately, I was in so much pain and not having many options, Novant was the closest of them all. Due to being in great deal of pain I toughed in out in the lobby and was there for 30 minutes but was seen by the doctor for less than 2 minutes. I was told to not worry about anything, there was nothing that could be done and rush to the ER as they were not equipped to diagnose my issue. I went to the ER which turned into staying in the hospital for 4 days. About a month later I get a bill in the mail for an insane amount. I called multiple times with "We will look into and give you a call back". Every call I felt like I was dealing with incompetence. I was never given an answer and given a complete run around. Come a few months later and they had sent it to collections without and explanation. I call prior to writing this review and I am being treated as if I was at fault and that I was being a waste of time. I guess all conversations in that facility need to be recorded. I would rather army crawl to an Urgent Care miles away before going to this place.
