Somewhat frazzled from the hustle bustle and noise of The Strip, America seemed like a quiet oasis, perfect for a recharging lunch. Midafternoon on a weekday, it wasn't busy and this was just what we needed, even though we didn't feel like a high-priced Vegas lunch bill.
But weekdays from 1130 to 3 they have Daily Specials, two entrée choices available for $9.95. On Thursday the Shrimp and Chips basket was one of the specials, and we both had that. This was a good deal: lots of fried baby shrimp and fries in a generous size basket, and the quality was pretty good.
A relaxing lunch location with good food and non-Strip prices!
