My favorite Mother's Day hot spot!!! We've been going for 5 years now to concert in the park!! Every year it seems to get better and busier. They do these every Sunday evening from about May until the first weekend in July. We bring chairs, a picnic, the kids and our fur babies. Things to do- ride the train $2, I think? Play anything from football to soccer before the concert starts. They do sell food at least on Mother's Day. Just your normal BBQ. Most people bring there own from full on dinner to cheese and wine. It is a night I look forward too each year. It's also one where all my girls make sure they are there. The band this year was an Eagles tribute band. It was SO MUCH FUN!! Concerts start between 7-7:30 and go until 9:00. We usually get there a couple hours early to enjoy some sunlight and leave a little before the concert it over. Parking-- it gets BUSY!!!! Parking can be a pain but show up early and leave before the concert it over and it's a breeze!! We definitely have to go more often than just Mother's Day! Check out there website, they list all the bands and times.
