Sana Spa is conveniently located inside the Radisson hotel near my work so I decided to check them out. I've had two massages here (relaxation & hot stone). The girl who works at the reception desk is extremely friendly and helpful. She was a pleasure to deal with both in person and over the phone.
The massage therapists here are also wonderful! They know what they're doing and go out of their way to ensure you have a good experience. If it was solely based on service then I would definitely give all the ladies that work here 5/5 stars!
My issue with this place is the "spa" itself. It really isn't much of a spa. The room they take you into to wait is quite the opposite of relaxing. People come and go and in an extremely noisy manner and there really isn't anything there other than a water dispenser and a few boxes of tea bags. My next concern is the music. When you're receiving a massage you expect calm and soft music, yet they have some radio station playing which has reoccurring ads that come up which is extremely distracting and takes away from the experience. Finally, they don't have any type of change room where you can leave your belongings. Once I was finished my massage I threw on a robe and wanted to go take a shower/ use the steam room. I had to haul all of my clothes, makeup, purse, shoes, etc with me everywhere I went. The ambiance just isn't what I would expect of a spa.
They do have discounted services very frequently (65$ massages and I've seen a few Groupon ads previously) which is cool. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place if you're looking for an actual spa experience with nice facilities- but if you're looking for a good quality/ quick massage and aren't picky on facilities then I would definitely check them out! Once again, the ladies who work here are great!
