This eclectic dive-bar is one of my favorite places in the city. I have perfected my order over the years and always order the same thing: falafel in tacos, ding dong style with a side of fried squash and ranch. You should try it, in fact - they should name it after me. Be prepared that it is usually loud in the restaurant, but there are things all over the walls and plenty to look at while waiting for your food. You also don't have a set "server" they all kind of work every table - meaning you can grab any tattoo'ed or pierced person and ask for a beer. They have some awesome drink specials and a good variety of drinks/beer. I usually take my out of town friends here if they ever visit Charlotte for the first time, it never disappoints. Also.. the banana pudding.. YES.
