Sushi Kaya is somewhere I've been going, since I was young. I haven't been there probably in about 5 years or so, but it's still as great as it was before. Sushi & apps were all great. I was surprised the rolls with mango tasted as good as they did. I love the fact that they do 1/2 size & full size rolls. Service was friendly.
It was a busy night, so the wait was about 20 minutes & they were definitely sticking to their rules. I saw them abiding to the 90 minute time frame to be able to turn tables around due to the business demand. Also, the table next to me was complaining because they were charged for 4 rolls ala carte price due to not finishing them but the rules are clearly stated on the menu for all customers to see.
One of my rolls was incorrect. They made the roll with cream cheese & it wasn't supposed to have any. Also, there was a bit of a wait for refills & whatnot but I understand they were busy. Overall I had a great experience & I'll definitely be back.
