i'm surprised i haven't reviewed lavo before!!
the first time i came here was on my first trip as a 21 year old in vegas. i found an incredible promoter - mike nagar - who could get my group of 3 girls and 2 guys in for free. we had gone to tao the night before and had high expectations.
we were told to go pretty early so it was empty as shit when we got in there, but girls had free drinks for an hour, so that was nice! there wasn't much room to walk around the bar because there were bottle service tables against the wall that were NOT roped off. i feel like it'd be pretty shitty to get one of those tables!!
there's a small dance floor (compared to other clubs) that played weird older music. crowd was older than it was at tao. a lot of bachelorette parties. we left pretty early in the night... it wasn't super fun, but it wasn't bad, either. it was just okay...
i came here again this past weekend though. went through a different promoter that my friend suggested and regretted it. free drinks for girls again, but it the bar was SO packed. we left 10 minutes after we got in because it wasn't even worth trying to get drinks. we had waited in like for ~30 min which was annoying because ... i think it's the longest i've had to wait to get in a club... especially since we were with all girls.
soo ya we left and went to another club!
tip: if you need to use the bathroom, just use the downstairs one! much less crowded.
