My last review got removed so I'm reposting it:
Sorry, but if I paid $50 + tip for gel nails, I don't expect them to chip within the week of getting them.
Why did I pay over $50? Full gel set = $35 + design = $10. And only at the end of my appointment did the business owner charge an additional $5 for having an appointment after 8pm. Really? You couldnt have told me when I booked it or when you told me it was going to be $45 right before I got them done. It's more convenient to let your customers know the additional costs you are putting on after having their nails done. I like my nail technician BUT one of my nails chipped and another one started cracking at the side, so I had to file it down to prevent it from breaking even more.
I'm usually a regular at another salon, and they do a much more wonderful job and it's less pricier than this place. I can go 4 weeks without chipping or breaking when I get my gel nails done there. The only reason I went to this place was because my regular place was temporarily closed and I was going on vacay the weekend that I needed them done. So of course I chose the place closest to me with decent reviews. However, I will gladly stick with my usual. There is nothing I hate more than to pay more than I need to for lesser quality than it should be.
