Gorgeous park right in the heart of downtown Charlotte! I felt so grateful to stumble upon it while touring the city one day. It's a five star park [and I didn't even go to any of the free concerts or fitness classes!] They have a beautiful garden area, local musician playing in the shade, a man made waterfall, mist garden and a tiny jingle-bell trampoline (really not sure what you'd call that contraption!). It is the perfect spot to enjoy lunch, have a tiny break from city life or bring kiddo's to cool down [or just yourself!] If you're super thirsty, there's a conveniently located 7-11 right across the street. I see this as a divine picnic spot, butterfly watching location or people watching [whatever you're into more!] Regardless, don't miss this perfect patch of green just a block over from Tryon, you'll be disappointed if you do!
