I was finally able to have my family share my Westgate timeshare with me. We celebrated my mother's birthday. Our first night, the smoke/carbon monoxide detector blared "Low Battery" at 3am which woke everyone up. I called the front desk and they told me they didn't have maintenance onsite overnight. This was crazy because if it was a maintenance emergency what would they have done?? So security came to the room to take the detector off the ceiling which didn't fix the problem. My brother had to literally take the device and stuff it in his luggage to quiet the beeping sounds in order for him to go to sleep. Housekeeping NEVER showed up in the 5 day days 4 nights of my stay. I called to find out why they haven't cleaned the room and I was informed that I have to call to make an appointment. Okay, I did that. When I returned to the room, the room still wasn't cleaned. I called the front desk to complain and was informed that they was unable to find out why housekeeping didn't show up. I WILL NEVER RETURN BACK TO THIS LOCATION!!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
