I feel I should preface this review with the fact that it was a special event held by Food Dudes, on a Wednesday night, in support of a food bank. I'm going to assume that because of this it wasn't a regular night.
This venue is beautiful! The amazing patio is by far the highlight with cabana seating, lights, a fountain, pool and great sound system outdoors. Lots of bar areas to get a drink.
The food available was pretty good but unfortunately closed down after only a few hours. The Muzik staff were extremely not helpful at finding out where I could redeem my food ticket since I was a bit late on that bandwagon.
From what I understand, if you buy drinks from the bar that aren't the special $5 cocktail, that everything is expensive. (~$15 martini I may have heard?)
The Muzik bartenders and Food Dude staff were friendly. The beefy meathead Muzik bouncers, on the other hand, not so much. I can see how working at a place like this would make people think they're the ish and act super pretentious but still, it's way better for everyone when people are friendly. I can also see the potential of this place being unenjoyable on a regular weekend night. This event was on a Wednesday and was a food bank fundraiser; I'm going to assume the vibe would not be like this on other nights.
Overall, I had an amazing time! This venue is amazing! Definitely worth checking out! Beautiful patio, again. Great sound system on the patio, again. It's a very enjoyable time if you never have to speak to bouncers or managers...
