OMG All these bad reviews about management and trash as well as no parking after the sun goes down is making me think twice about moving here. I came here after the renovations and the place is gorgeous. The grounds were clean and the staff was very, very nice so I am finding it hard to see why I shouldn't move here. No one complained about the apartments and I can see why...they are superior to anything else in the area and priced accordingly. Some of these reviews are a few months old and since then all these issues seem to be fixed except for parking. There is a gym now and it's very clean. The halls were clean, very clean as a matter of fact and there was no trash piled up near the compactor. It was saturday and sunday I was there and the place was so nice I am signing today and moving in soon. I am sorry to hear about maintenance going into an apartment without a work order and without tenant permission. That's a deal breaker for me. Since the new management took over it seems like there was a lot of changes that were annoying to some of the tenants. A cleaner and working pool was fixed and there was a new gym and front office built. All of these changes take time. For a new owner to take over they probably had to clean house and start over with new everything. I loved the place so much my parents wanted to come with me and they approved. These are two of the pickiest people you'll ever know and if they liked it, then I know I would love it. If there are management problems it must be with a few tenants and there's 2 sides to every story. I didn't get the impression that management would purposely make mistakes or take 1 week to fix an air conditioner but rather they can only do so much and if things are out of their control. I know what it's like to be a manager and the customer is not always right but usually the customer is wrong. I have taken these negative reviews into consideration and will keep my eyes open for anything out of the normal and handle it accordingly. Every situation is different and there's 2 sides to every story. I will take my chances and move in here. I work at home so parking is not an issue. I have a hose if my area is dirty. I can change my own air and water filters and fix anything else. I will move in here with the same thrill I had on Xmas Day when I was a kid and I cannot wait. Everyone who complained about something all said they loved the apartments. If 8 owners out of the 300 here complained on Yelp then the real number of unhappy renters is probably 50 owners/renters who have issues but don't complain on Yelp. That's 20% of the entire place? A 10% complaint from renters is bad, bad. I will take my chances so God help me.
