I joined some friends for Food Truck Friday in Matthews last night and gave Two Chicks a try. We got the Sampler Plate which included an Asian Chicken Lettuce Wrap, a Korean BBQ Taco, and a Spinach Artichoke Quesadilla. Each item was insanely tasty! I don't think I could even choose a favorite of the three. The peanut sauce on the chicken wrap was surprisingly good and something I'm now determined to try to copy at home. It tasted very Thai to me, nice spice and a hint of ginger. I was also surprised by how yummy the quesadilla was. It was thicker than your average quesadilla, full of spinach and artichoke, obviously, and LOTS of fresh mozzarella, all toasted to just the right amount of crispiness. The Korean BBQ Taco was another winner. The meat (I think brisket maybe?) had a wonderful flavor and tasted like it had been cooked low and slow all day. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender. So good! Overall, this sampler was perfect and a really great variety of unique flavor profiles. I would recommend any of these items, together as the platter, or on their own. I will definitely try Two Chicks again the next time I see them around town!
