Let me start by saying "I don't do coffee".....never picked up the taste for it. Thank god for that as this place would bankrupt me.
I was shell shocked when I walked in and realized the prices of food/sandwiches/muffins/etc. Astronomical. Coffee prices.....wow....no wonder they're everywhere....with these prices they must own the city they're in...not just the store.
I do have a weakness for their Chai Tea Latte....one of the best I've had. Although $4.65 for a regular sized cup is steep...I'll pay it and happily sip on it while watching people reading books/surfing the web, etc.
I suppose one of the reasons for their success is their knowledgeable staff, assorted coffee variations, decent food, warm neighbourly atmosphere.....what's not to like. Oh ya...the prices....
