Cowboy Trail Farms is a gem for the Las Vegas Valley. When I first moved to southern Nevada, I could not find a place like this. This summer, I took advantage of the June 14, 2015 Farm to Table dinner. I toured and learned about the farm, delighted in hearty, vegan cuisine including a cool, blueberry cashew cream cake.
The farm is open most Saturdays 10 AM-12:30 PM. I have seen lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, sunflowers and even mangoes. Come buy fresh, local and organic produce and participate in the CSA basket program too.
Classes about health & wellness, vertical farming, how to grow plants in the desert, canning and preserving and more are offered.
