I have that feeling my deposit was stolen and Sun City is going out of business. I ordered awnings May 17th and was told it would take 4-6 weeks. They asked for 50% deposit. It is July 11th. I called to find out why we don't have our awnings. The salesman texted me and said the contract has been sitting around and nothing was ordered. Oddly, he asked to stop by our house to "firm up" colors? Then he scheduled to come by and remeasure. He text me that day and said his youngest was ill and he needed to take him to the doctor, and would reschedule today. Then he failed to call or come by. I called the office at 12:54pm and asked to speak to the owner. They told me he was in a meeting. I called back at 3pm and they said he was still in a meeting. Then I called at 4:05 and they were closed. I text the salesman and asked if they were filing chapter 11 and avoiding customers with deposits. He said no, he just forgot to call me today. I said I only want to speak to the owner. He said tomorrow they have a sales meeting until noon, and nobody is available. I told him this is not good customer service. I hope they don't swindle me out of my deposit. I hope I can get through to the owner. This is very stressful. Now they have a bad review, if they even care.
