It's kind of hard to write a review about a place I've only been to once for an ice cream on a cone, but from what I experienced it's worthy of a 4 star.
This place is small and not really all that appealing visually, but everything else is solid. There's a decently large parking lot out front and along the sides of the building, which is always a huge plus for me since nothing frustrates me more than not being able to park when I'm going somewhere. Sandwiched in between the the parking lot is a seating area with several park bench/tables where you can sit after getting your ice cream, which is good since there's no seating inside the building. You only really get a lousy view of lakeshore road, but I guess it could be nice to sit out on a summer night and just gaze at the sky while eating your ice cream.
The ice cream itself is pretty outstanding too. I'm not even a huge fan of ice cream but not only was it tasty but there was a good quantity of it too. I got vanilla on a waffle cone dipped in butterscotch, absolutely stellar. The ice cream on a cone was already prepared for me by the time I was done paying so there was literally no waiting time at all which is excellent. The price was 4 bucks or so, I have no idea if this is a good price or not since I never buy ice cream but I'm guessing for something this good it's probably around standard price or a touch more.
Overall a good place, give it a try even if you think you don't care much about ice cream.
