I've found my favorite sushi place in Arizona! The restaurant is small, but it doesn't lack character. I got an avocado roll and sweet potato tempura roll, both of which were on a secret menu. I was blown away by how fresh the avocado was. The rice was the perfect consistency and flavor as well. The tempura was to die for. I was sad to finish eating it. My boyfriend loved his sushi as well (he got blue fin negi toro and the spicy yellow tail), which he described as "very rich and savory". Needless to say, we will be coming back! I'm so happy to find a place out here in the desert that can meet my vegan sushi needs.
