After getting off the Bressarion Station and exploring the neighbourhood, I chanced upon their store, Taro's Fish. I went in not knowing what to expect. I was greeted by a Japanese lady with a warm smile. I glanced around. The place wasn't too big and there was another customer happily eating away in the side by the window. I walked further into the store and I saw some of the freshest manila clams and live uni (sea urchin). They also had some nice cooked terriyaki squid and chicken on the side. I ended up having a nice meal there today. The place and the food reminded me of my travels in the far east. It was a nice authentic Japanese place. If you ever wanted to taste real Japanese food but didn't want to travel all the way to the far east, then this is the place to be.
