I've used this Public Storage Unit since 2004 for business purposes (11 years).
Management customer service varies but for the most part the staff is courteous.
Annual storage unit rent increases are common.
The facilities are adequate (not aesthetically pleasant). The inside of my storage unit had pink ceiling insulation that was completely exposed.
I had my monthly payments on AutoPay (credit card on file), which made it easy to be billed and pay for everything at the 2nd day of each month, until I had to check out.
I completely emptied the storage unit by the 4th of the month, but because the AutoPay charged my credit card, the staff said that they could not prorate or credit the charge. Previously, a staff person said that I could receive a credit as long I was out of the storage unit by the 6th of the month. The regular staff had to escalate the issue to their area manager--Ken. I left a message but got a hold of him live on the phone the next day. He was cordial but reaffirmed that he could not credit or prorate the charge because it was on AutoPay.
Apparently, in the digital age, you can't reverse credit card charges. That's hard to believe.
I would of probably given the place 3 or 4 stars because of little to know hassles over the use of their facility for over 10 years. But I gave it a 2-star review because of the close out issues w/ their AutoPay.
But hey, as Ken said, "I still have a storage unit for the month of September!"...which is great...if I had something to store in it!
